** The Bishop of Winchester School has recently become an Academy and there have been a number of
changes there. We are working hard with the Academy to ensure that the Festival will continue to flourish at this
most acceptable - and accesible- venue. The staff at the School are brilliant and we thank them most sincerely
for their ongoing support.

We ask that our Mums, Dads and Teachers ensure that all our dancers and members of their families who come
to watch their performances behave immaculately whilst on the premises. Our future at this venue might just
depend on this!! Thank you.
PLEASE NOTE:The Festival will now ONLY accept CDs as

CHANGES TO THE DANCE SYLLABUS FOR 2012 WHICH IS A QUALIFYING YEAR FOR THE
ALL ENGLAND CHAMPIONSHIPS

Choreography and Improvisation Classes will NOT be held in 2012.

Stylised ballet is removed from the SOLO sections in order to comply with the Championship Class Rules. In
future, SOLO stylised classes will be part of the Character classes but all other stylised duets, trios and groups
will remain part of the classical section.

By popular request, in 2011 we introduced new classes for Commercial Dance (street dance, break dance,
hip-hop, body-popping etc) for solos and groups both under 13 and13 - 21. We hope that they will be really well
supported in 2012 by all the dancers interested in modern dancing as well as the teachers concerned. Get
popping and breaking!!

WARNING:!! Class numbers may have changed last year so please make sure you have the
correct number on your Entry Form when you fill it in!!
